the award for crummiest high school

Somehow got into a “water cooler” debate with another relatively new employee about whose high school education was more deficient. I, of course, won hands down. Even his small Catholic high school in Park Slope couldn’t compete with BRHS, with their failure to offer basic chemistry and pre-calculus (I got extra points for throwing in senior year bookkeeping and CPR classes). Though, lately I’ve been reminded that however low the quality of education BRHS offered, at least we were taught how to read/write English...
