to sunny days

From “The Cartoon” Seinfeld episode:

Elaine: You know, maybe Kramer is right, some people should just give up. I have.
Jerry: What did you wanna be?
Elaine: I don't remember, but it certainly wasn't this.

I'm still not entirely sure what I wanna be, it changes frequently*. But whatever it is, I still haven't given up yet...Perhaps I should?

*Among the many things I thought I wanted to be (including some I haven't yet given up on): an Olympic gymnast, a writer, an editor, a photographer, an architect, a (super) hero, an engineer, a professor, an eternal student, a secretary to the rich and famous, a suburban carpool mom, a financially independent housewife, a therapist, a book critic, a lottery jackpot winner...
