Last week I was divvied some real engineering work, which at times offered a good distraction, except when I was too distracted to work. And there were even some moments when I thought, if I get more of this sort of work, this job might actually be tolerable for longer than a year...But this morning, I'm back to being bored and antsy, pondering cliffs and parachutes...
