Aloha Friday

I'm experiencing one of those rare moments of appreciating my job, and am thus making sure to document it for future reference. While sitting in cubicle all day still amounts to sitting in a cubicle all day, these days I've moved beyond absolutely dreading going to work in the morning...to just dreading it. I'm realizing that though there are lots of things I don't like about my job, the benefits outweigh the negatives, especially given that I don't have alternative work options right now. Some of the positive things: the people here are among the best I've worked with yet, I get a paycheck every couple weeks, I actually enjoy some of the work, it's fun to impress people outside of work with talk of the sorts of things I (pretend to) do at work, I made friends with some of my colleagues (minimal effort social life), and of course, weekends!

Ah, no work until Tuesday...
