to forget about life for a while

Back from a last minute escape to an island with my DH, away from work, and internet, and errands, and responsibilities, and cell phones, and familiar people, and traffic...Though we weren't really very far away from home, or any of the above mentioned, we were far closer to the beach, the natural beauty of the island, and Pina Coladas, making it easy to think about little else...Feeling surprisingly refreshed despite the residual grogginess from a red-eye flight and the expectation that coming back to work would be harder than ever...
