three peppers

Two weeks filled with shuttling between The Valley and Santa Barbara, feeling homeless in Santa Barbara, then finally back to a home we're considering deserting. And amidst the exhausting traveling and sense of displacement, more job fairs. Which comes along with more paraphernalia, and more interviews. And more potential decisions to make despite the profusion of uncertainties. New hope comes with new worries. And potential opportunity with disappointment. Commuting and loneliness. And the usual fear of the unknown. And perhaps more so, of the known.

But ah, if not for the constant changes and (seeming) setbacks in life, it might feel like I were standing still.
