“You sound like you’re living in your own world.”

A few weeks ago BPS expressed disappointment at my having terminated this blog. She asked if I missed blogging. I admitted that for the first week I did, but I quickly got accustomed to wasting my time doing other things. Not having a place to write about trivialities related to my life anywhere has actually been liberating in many respects. However, I got to thinking about how writing changes the way I perceive things - and I've come to realize that having some place to post things gives me a sort of awareness and appreciation of even marginal aspects of life (and of course allows me to record things that I would otherwise forget). But more importantly, I’ve noticed that my fragile ability to form coherent sentences on command has rapidly deteriorated since I quit blogging. So if only in support of facilitating my ease of writing, I hereby reinstate this medium of nonsense.
