Nobody Walks in LA

"Seems it never rains in Southern California
Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California
But girl, don't they warn ya
It pours man it pours"

- ALBERT HAMMOND
Driving to interviews around the city (and beyond), I learned the infrastructure of Los Angeles with the help of google maps and post-its plastered all over my dashboard, now I'm learning to "drive" in LA on my 20-mile commute to work. After weeks of suffering through unbearable traffic, I've discovered that timing is everything in making it to and from work at a reasonable time. And after more than 3 weeks, the job is still surprisingly tolerable. It's keeping me busy enough to, for the most part, only have time to worry about arranging my gym schedule for the week. But life rings with a certain emptiness when working full time, leaving me feeling sort of numb. And with very little to write.
