a marginal extension of a simplistic generalization
In life, there are givers and there are takers. But there are also givers who are takers and takers who are givers. Furthermore, there are those who are neither givers nor takers. And of course, there are givers who are receivers. But I wonder, is there some defining point in a taker’s life when he comes to appreciate all that he has been given, and when he decides to change his ways and become a taker that gives, or better yet, to become a giver that accepts. Similarly, if a giver is surrounded by only takers, will he ever break, become disillusioned, and stop giving?
