"How bad do you want to be good*"

And it's that time of year again…Though I'm more at peace with myself now (for better or worse)? (Perhaps in some sense with G-d as well?) Something to think about: I read in Mishnah Torah that to properly confess to a sin, one has to vow never to do it again. Makes me wonder if I will ever be able to truly repent given that I don't know who to trust regarding the distinctions between right and wrong in Judaic law...(I'm not sure I can vow to never repeat something I'm not sure is wrong to begin with.)
